This past weekend I got to speak on my little Brother’s behalf one last time.

Losing you was one of the hardest things that has ever happened to me. One moment I’m laughing at old memories and the next I’m crying because I felt it was too soon. Today I’m better and stronger because I know that is what you would want me to be. 24 years is a short time to live but in that time we’ve created many years of memories that I will forever cherish. I will love you always little brother! 💖

While we don’t usually follow the public school schedule I think we could all use a break this week.

Lately, I haven’t been feeling like myself ment

Lately, I haven’t been feeling like myself mentally or physically. Between my day-to-day task plus blogging i sometimes find myself overwhelmed. The reality of not always accomplishing my to do list and goals has resulted in me becoming an emotional eater. So much that at I’ve gained over 30lbs making me the biggest I’ve been outside of pregnancy. I can feel the extra weight in everything that I do and It doesn’t feel great. I know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes but this is a really unhealthy weight for me.This is bigger than wanting abs or to look good in clothes, but more so about making a lifestyle change and prioritizing my health and wellness to become a healthier me.

My best advice to Homeschool moms or those considering homeschooling is to focus on having fun, the learning will follow.

Check out this super simple shape activity for toddlers!The only materials needed are masking tape and toys! Maleah really enjoyed hunting for different shapes around the house. Once Maleah masters these three shapes we will move on to the next three.

Who told you that you were flawed?

Yesterday I shared some of my past insecurities and you all shared yours. It seems we all grew up hating something about ourselves. For some it was having dark skin, a crooked smile, or a desire to lose/ gain weight. I couldn’t help but think: what if we never let the opinions or appearances of others make us question ourselves? What if we always saw ourselves the way God created us? In time of self doubt let’s seek validation from the only one who matters- Jesus.
